With a standard swimming pool, the section has created room for many members to learn swimming . It is worthy to mention that his Excellency Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki learnt to swim here. It is a socially active place to be
Swimming Pool section
The Swimming Section metamorphosed from the car park group in 2009 under the presidency of Dr. I.K Ofor. The first captain of the Section was Mr. Obiora Onwuteka. The Pool itself was constructed in 1964 during the tenure of Chief Olu Akpata as President.
A massive renovation / reconstruction was however carried out during the presidency of Pharm. Fred Iboi in 2022 and Mr. Justin Ajufo has the Captain.
The aim of the pool is to recreate through swimming exercise. However, because of the present state of the pool which has now been upgraded tremendously, major events in the Club are now being held there and it is now the cynosure of attention in Benin Club.
